Butler Capital ranked No. 88 in 2007 Monitor 100
HUNT VALLEY, Md., July 10, 2007 - Butler Capital Corporation has been ranked 88th in the 2007 Monitor 100 listing of the nation’s largest equipment leasing and finance firms and 82 nd in overall new business volume among the Monitor 100 companies. Butler ranked 88th in 2006 after having debuted in 2005 at no. 90. Nationally, only 21 independent firms and only four Maryland firms earned a position on the list.
The Monitor, the equipment leasing and finance industry’s leading independent trade publication, published this year’s Monitor 100 in its July issue. The annual ranking is based on a compilation of information on the top 100 leasing and finance companies in the U.S. Ranked by asset size, the Monitor 100 firms are generally regarded as the “who’s who” in the equipment leasing and finance industry. The Monitor 100 report also includes a separate ranking based on new business volume, and Butler Capital placed 82 nd in this category.
Among the indexed companies reporting on syndicated loan volume and fee income, Butler ranked 20th in the nation. It also led all but five independent U.S. lenders in loan volume per employee.
Butler Capital has been a direct business lender since its establishment 1978. Its loans and leases fund equipment purchases, business acquisitions, expansions and remodeling. For more information, visit the company’s Web site at www.ButlerCapital.com.
