Leslie A. Berkoff, Esq. Appointed Co-Chair Of
American Bankrupcty Institute's Healthcare Insolvencey Committtee
GARDEN CITY, NEW YORK, May 19 2008 - Leslie A. Berkoff, a partner in the Garden City law firm of Moritt Hock Hamroff & Horowitz LLP has been appointed by the American Bankruptcy Institute to serve as Co- Chair it Healthcare Insolvency Committee.
The American Bankruptcy Institute is the largest multi-disciplinary, non-partisan organization dedicated to research and education matters related to insolvency
Ms. Berkoff is a partner with the firm and serves as Co-Chair of the firm's Litigation and Bankruptcy practice groups. She concentrates her practice in the area of bankruptcy litigation and workouts and represents a variety of corporate debtors, trustees, creditors and creditor committees both nationally and locally. Ms. Berkoff has been Chair of the International Women's Insolvency and Restructuring Confederation since 2004 and has served on the Board of Directors of that organization for over ten years. She also is an active member of the Nassau County Bar Association and a past Chair of its Bankruptcy Committee. In addition, she also serves on the Board of Editors of Pratt's Journal of Bankruptcy Law and is a past President and board member of Hofstra School of Law's Alumni Association.
