For the past 30 plus years, EAEL has provided a forum for the leasing professionals to stay abreast of the ever-changing climate of the leasing community while networking with current and future customers at sponsored events. From educational sessions presented by leaders in the industry to information-filled articles found in The Independent, EAEL exists to assist you in being successful in the equipment leasing business.

EAEL offers its Members a year-round schedule of programs that are developed with you in mind. Benefits of membership include:

• Membership Directory - Resource Guide - Gain direct access to fellow members and contacts through the EAEL Membership Directory. You will receive the hardcopy of this valuable guide plus have access to the Online version for Members Only.



• Subscriptions - With EAEL, you will receive a free subscription to The Independent, a quarterly newsletter with up-to-date news on the ins-and-outs of the leasing industry.



• CLP Certification - To assist you with obtaining your CLP (Certified Professional Leasing) designation, EAEL conducts popular study groups to assist you in achieving this goal. You will also receive valuable CLP credits when you attend designated EAEL education programs.



• Discounts - As an EAEL member, you will receive valuable discounts on numerous EAEL and other industry programs and events.

Membership Categories
EAEL realizes the importance of offering members a diverse selection of benefits for their particular needs. It is for that reason, EAEL offers two distinct memberships - one for full, regular membership and one for service providers.

Full Member
Full Membership in the EAEL shall be open to firms engaged in the personal property leasing business irrespective of where they maintain their principal place of business. Each applicant for initial FULL MEMBERSHIP (or a principal thereof shall have been engaged in such business for a minimum period of two (2) years and must be sponsored, in writing, by one FULL or ASSOCIATE MEMBER of EAEL. Each such applicant must also provide a letter from a funding source confirming a satisfactory business relationship except in the case of an application from a funding source for Membership, where the requirement for such letter may be waived by the Board. Such applicant must also provide supporting credit and other information (including bank references where appropriate) which may be required by the Board to determine the business reputation and character of the applicant. FULL MEMBERS will designate an official representative and one alternate, if so desired, to EAEL. Any change in the status of the representative will be effective upon the receipt of notice in writing from the Member to EAEL. The official representative shall have full and sole authority to represent their Member Firm in any of the activities and affairs of EAEL. The alternate representative shall have this authority in the absence of the official representative.

Service Provider
Service Provider Membership in the EAEL shall be open to accountants, attorneys and other individuals or entities who are not eligible for Full Membership, who have a business or professional involvement in the personal property leading industry. Each applicant for initial SERVICE PROVIDER MEMBERSHIP (or principal thereof) shall have been in business for a minimum of two (2) years and must be sponsored, in writing by one FULL or SERVICE PROVIDER MEMBER of EAEL. Each applicant must also provide any supporting credit and other information (including, where appropriate, bank reference) which may be required by the Board to determine the business reputation and character of the applicant.

It is the interaction between the Full Members and Service Providers - sharing, informing, offer solutions and support to fellow members - that is the strength of EAEL.
